Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I first saw a glimpse at this Victor Frankenstein flick at CinemaCon earlier this year and my reaction to it was that I thought Daniel Radcliffe and James McAvoy were bringing a lot of life (yuk-yuk-yuk) to this retelling, but that I was worried the movie around them felt very Van Helsing-ish.
The full trailer is now out and I still have the same reservations with the look of the effects and cinematography, but damn if I don't just like watching McAvoy and Radcliffe bounce off each other.
We've seen this story told a million times and we'll likely see a million more, but I like this cast and if they can keep the charm cranked up then maybe this thing will play. What do you folks think?
