Hey folks, Harry here. Seems that Michael Moore has chosen his next subject to make a documentary about... and it seems that he'll be dealing with firearms in the United States. EXCELLENT! In the post Columbine world, where politicians blame film instead of the world we live in where kids can get guns and explosives... well... Moore's satiric and unblinking eye is very much in need to show the hypocrisy and stupidity of U.S. policy regarding firearms in this country. Here ya go...
Hey Harry,
Michael Moore spoke at Florida State University this evening to an audience of roughly a thousand people, and he also attended a reception following his three hour speech where he spoke for an additional hour to a smaller group. During the course of these two events, it was revealed during his introduction that his next film is tentatively titled "Bowling In Columbine." Later, when asked about this, he hinted that this wouldn't likely be the actual title, but the film will deal with firearms in the United States. He said he would begin shooting next week. He also said he was gearing up for another season of "The Awful Truth" and was writing another book (to be titled either "Dow Wow Wow" or "Born in the U.S.S.A.") All in all, he was a generous speaker, and it's too bad that Green Party members in the audience used up a lot of time to promote their own meetings.
