Hey folks, Harry here... My top fetish when it comes to film is animation. The weirder and more bizarre the better. From taxidermied animals brought to stop-motion life to the beautiful modern polished Stop-motion of LAIKA or AARDMAN, the world of STOP MOTION animation goes a whole lot further than just the works of Willis O'Brien or George Pal or Ray Harryhausen - and decades ago, the Brothers Quay emerged on the scene - and thus far - the idea of Christopher Nolan throwing his name behind these twin brothers' work is just fantastic! THE BROTHERS QUAY is a series of 3 of the Quay Brothers' finest works, along with a new short film by Christopher Nolan entitled QUAY. All of this will be presented in 35mm at a series of Indie venues around the U.S. I know it's coming to the ALAMO RITZ here in Austin in September, but check your own local indies and do not miss this amazing chance to discover and enjoy the incredible work of the Brothers Quay!
