Hey folks, Harry here. The story you read about Tobey Maguire saying ALICIA WITT is MARY JANE WATSON is apparently fake or untrue. Our reporter in Italy was there and heard it with his own ears and according to him... there was no mention of Alicia Witt. Now, I do not know from whence SpiderManHype.Com got their story, which was then referenced at this location, Dark Horizons and Filmforce, but ol Robert in Italy has been a solid reporter with our EURO AICN crew for quite some time. NOW... this doesn't mean that Alicia ISN'T Mary Jane, it just means that Tobey Maguire didn't say she was Mary Jane at least when he spoke to the Italian press. Here's the report!

Hey Ozy,
The scoop about Tobey Maguire and the cast of Spiderman which was published by AICN, Dark Horizons, IGN film Force is a fake. Maguire said nothing about the cast. He just said that we'll know everything in the next two weeks. So, maybe Alicia Witt will be MJ Watson and maybe Malkovich won't be The Goblin,
but Maguire didn't speak about that.
