AB King reports on the latest on DRIVEN

Hey folks, Harry here and ya know... You have to love AB's persistence... this fella loves his Stallone and Arnie flicks. Now he's all excited by the latest on the DRIVEN website... and ya know... It's good to be excited... but as you read about the film below... you're gonna need to ask yourself if the script is gonna be any good at all. I've browsed through it, but I've never been able to get through it... it's fairly thick in racing jargon... and the characters never grabbed me... Maybe they'll come to life on the big screen... when all that stick talk will make sense. Till then, here's the enthusiasm of Sly's biggest fan...

ABking here,

Over at the official DRIVEN website at This Location Here, there are lots of things to check out: great photos of the production, the cool teaser trailer and behind-the-scenes info among other things. Stallone and Renny Harlin promise a really great film with never before seen special effects come next spring. The groundbreaking THE MATRIX techniques will be put to new use and pushed even further in this film. If this "pet project" of Sly and Renny had been made years ago, it might not have been as spectacular as what we will all witness next year. This is what the DRIVEN website reported for what's planned:

As part of their effort to create a never-before-seen onscreen experience of a high-speed ride, the filmmakers will enrich live action racing footage with the latest in camera and computer graphic imaging (CGI) technology. Although Harlin and Stallone want to maintain some of the behind-the-scenes secrets, they’re enthusiastic over the look they’re creating utilizing, among other techniques, the dazzling breakthrough visual effect that shows dynamic camera movement around slow-motion events seen in the blockbuster "The Matrix." With Driven, the filmmakers are determined to take this revolutionary technology further, with all the speed and daring of any self-respecting driver trying to push and look over the edge. "We want to blow you away," says Harlin.
