The Comic-Con issue of EW will feature these exclusive pics from Tim Miller's adaptation of Rob Liefeld’s DEADPOOL, but ComicBook.com has scored somewhat teeny-tiny scans of said pics for our perusal:
Those are our first official looks at Morena Baccarin’s Vanessa Carlysle a.k.a. Copycat, T.J. Miller’s Jack Hammer a.k.a. Weasel, Gina Carano’s Angel Dust, Ed Skrein’s (apparently broody) Ajax, and Brianna Hildebrand’s Ellie Phimister a.k.a. Negasonic Teenage Warhead.
Boy, Wade Wilson sure looks handsome, don’t he? Hope they scar his ass up before the halfway point, because, unlike Marisa Tomei in SPIDER-MAN, it’s actually important to the story that this guy not be cover-ready. But a big A+ for the RENT shirt.
These definitely feel comic-booky, particularly that canted-angle shot of Carano and Miller. I’m just super-jealous of T.J. getting the chance to get slapped around by the tough, gorgeous Ms. Carano. Anyone with me, or should I seek counseling?
DEADPOOL will determine how many hard-R comic-book movies we’ll be seeing over the next few years (no pressure!) on February 12th, 2016.
