Starz on Tuesday ordered a series based on Neil Gaiman’s 2001 novel about the old gods and the new gods battling for supremacy in the world of men.
Bryan Fuller -- creator of “Dead Like Me,” “Wonderfalls,” “Pushing Daisies” and NBC’s version of “Hannibal” – serves as showrunner of the Starz version of “American Gods,” and he just tweeted the poster above and some Jim Carson concept art for the Bone Orchard:
“Gods’” other showrunner is Michael Green, who worked with Fuller on the first, best season of “Heroes.” Separately, Green wrote for “Smallville,” “Everwood,” “Kings,” “The River” and “The Flash” and helped script the Ryan Reynolds “Green Lantern” movie.
Gaiman may still be best known for creating the “Sandman” comics way back in the 1980s.
Look for "American Gods" to hit Starz next year.
