As previously announced, THE POWERPUFF GIRLS…which ran from the late 90s to the mid 2000s on Cartoon Network (and spawned a remarkably enjoyable feature film along the way)…is being resurrected as a new show which’ll debut in 2016.
Nick Jennings, a Producer on ADVENTURE TIME, will serve as Executive Producer here, with Tom Kenny (SPONGE BOB, STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS) reprising his role as Mayor/Narrator (he voiced these parts in the original outing).
CN has released our first glimpse of art from the new show, which seems to be very much in keeping with its time tested source material…
