Hey folks, Harry here with something... well, it hit me as being pretty cool. I received the following letter from Katharina Kubrick Hobbs today informing me about her mother's website and about a print that's available that Christiane Kubrick painted of Stanley Kubrick, her husband. Now, for those of you that are Kubrick aficionados, you know that the paintings on the walls of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's house were the work of Stanley's wife, Christiane. Now, deep pocket fans, this website of hers is where you can begin to inquire about those sort of things and for those with shallow pockets there are prints. At the very least perusing Christiane's gallery of paintings and etchings is quite a lovely way to spend some time... and if you are lucky enough to acquire something... well I'm glad I could help point you there. I hope you enjoy this link... it isn't to upcoming movie stuff... but it is rather cool all the same. Here ya go...
Hello Harry. I've just discovered your site, and although it may not be quite appropriate, "some" of the Kubrick fans that you have might be interested.
Christiane Kubrick has her own website...ChristianeKubrick.Net. She has recently put up for sale ,Art prints, of a Painting she did of Stanley. Her paintings are for sale too ,obviously, but they are ,I suspect ,more than the average youngster could afford. I am being presumptious I've no doubt! :o) But I thought that you might like to make your members aware of the fact that these reproductions are available.
Yours sincerely,
Katharina Kubrick Hobbs.
