Showtime To Give Us 18 (Not Nine!!) New TWIN PEAKS Episodes Directed By David Lynch??

Sherilyn Fenn and Sheryl Lee apparently told the folks at Seattle’s Crypticon three things this weekend:

1. Showtime has ordered 18 (not nine) episodes of “Twin Peaks.” (Only nine episodes were announced by Showtime in October.)

(This confirms Showtime Exec David Nevins' May 16 comment that we're getting more than nine episodes.)

2. Angelo Badalamenti is composing new music for the project.

3. Twede’s Cafe in North Bend, Wash., will reprise its role as the Double-R diner.

Shouldn’t Rashida Jones be cast as an FBI agent in this?
