Hey folks, Harry here... UK's edition of YAHOO, got invited down to Mexico for Behind The Scenes coverage of the opening sequence for the upcoming SPECTRE! This is pretty groovy - it gives you some of the paces and scope of the opening, but... seriously, it ain't gonna ruin anything for ya, as stills and bts video are all in the wrong places to capture what this will become... Now take a look...
Now... imagine Hoyte Van Hoytema (the DP behind INTERSTELLAR, HER, TINKER TAILOR SOLDIER SPY and most importantly, the original LET THE RIGHT ONE IN) shooting a DIA DE LOS MUERTOS parade production designed by Dennis Gassner (Production Designer behind MILLER'S CROSSING, ROAD TO PERDITION, EARTH GIRLS ARE EASY and SKYFALL) and directed by Sam Mendes featuring James Bond. Now, Bond has been in crowds like this before, most notably in MOONRAKER, when Doctor Goodhead was being chased by JAWS in a Mardi Gras celebration or the Junkanoo Parade in THUNDERBALL... but I have to say, I've always loved James Bond's Series' sharing of cultural celebrations around the world, and doing DIA DE LOS MUERTOS in Mexico - well, I'm excited, how about you?
