This news came in from frequent spy, SEAWEED. As every sea man knows everything gets tangled in seaweed. As a result, SEAWEED comes up with a few pieces from time to time. With El Nino kicking California's buttocks on a daily basis, scriptments, tapes, all types of stuff is being caught up in SEAWEED, in fact he/she/it was even drug into LIGHTSTORM recently!!!
So, I just read your story about Planet of the Apes with Harison Ford and Camneron. Well, I recently did some work over at Lightstorm, and did my best to ask around as to what would be Cameron's next project. One guy was brave enough to say "Probably Spiderman" but most had absolutely no idea whatsoever. When I asked someone about the APES project, they had no idea what I was talking about. (Thanks for embarrassing me, by the way...) No APES, No HARRISON FORD, nothing...There are lots of Spidey books and toys around, but they have been there for years...
One rumor I did hear was that there was a TRUE LIES 2 around and that it was going to be set in Russia and that this was a possibility for the followup project.
Seaweed again- I just heard thru the Hollywood grapevine that Penny Marshall, fo her next film is going to do soething very different. The Bio pic of ex Heavyweight champ, James J. Braddock. I am assuming that it is going tobe with Universal, since her company, Parkway Pictures is on the Universal lot and that's where this was overheard. The project is called CINDERELLA MAN, which was Braddock's nickname. So what do you think Harry? Penny doing her own Raging Bull? Let me know...

So here's one more for you. A friend of mine is involved with an upcoming Broadway musical called COMPLICATIONS, whicjh is being directed by Herbert Ross. The show is really starting to move along, and at the same time, word is that Ross has set up an office for his next film project, DIRTY DANCING 2. All I know is that Sawyze is back, but no word on Jennifer "nosejob" Grey but why wouldnt she do it?? Anyway, thought you might like to know.
