Hercules Eyeballs The Introduction Of The Red Hood Gang On Tonight’s 17th GOTHAM!!

I am – Hercules!!

Gotham 1.17 FAQ

What’s it called?
“Red Hood.”

Who’s responsible?
“Judge Dredd” director, “CSI” writer-director and “Dark Blue” creator Danny Cannon, who directed the “Gotham” pilot, pens his first “Gotham” teleplay.

What says Fox?
“Following several bank robberies, Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Bullock (Donal Logue) investigate the Red Hood gang. Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova) continues to bond with Barbara (Erin Richards), and Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) tries to reclaim her position in the underworld. Guest Cast: Drew Powell as Butch Gilzean; Clare Foley as Ivy Pepper; Sharon Washington as Molly Mathis; David O'Hara as Reggie; Jonny Coyne as Destro; Jenna Gavigan as Manager's Secretary; Takeo Lee Wong as Chaing; Jeffrey Combs as Office Manager.”

“Destro”? Do I smell a GI Joe crossover?
Not so much.

How does it start?
With the five-man “Red Hood Gang” arguing about the introduction of a red hood to the gang.

In 1951’s Detective Comics #168 the Joker is revealed to be The Red Hood. So that Jerome kid from last week, now incarcerated, is not the Joker?
Not necessarily. In 1988’s The Killing Joke one-shot scripted by Alan Moore, it is suggested that the Red Hood gang existed long before that gang recruited the future Joker.

The individual running the organ-harvesting operation Fish is trying to thwart? Is it someone we’ve met before?
No. He’s played by The Re-Animator himself, Jeffrey Combs, who knows something about dismemberment.

Does Barbara Kean offer to fly Cat and/or Ivy to the Greek isle of Lesbos?
“You’re turning into quite the beautiful woman,” a boozy Barbara tells Cat.

I gather Ms. Mullens, Bullock’s water-fearing object of desire, no longer lurks about?
The writers would appear to have lost interest in Bullock’s love life.

Do Bruce and Alfred make it out of the library this week?
They do indeed. The David O’Hara character knew “Alfie” decades ago when they were in the British special forces.

Now that she and Gordon have fornicated, do we learn Dr. Leslie Thompkins is secretly a former Arkham inmate?
We learn no such thing. Thompkins is referenced but fails to make her way onscreen this week.

What’s doing with Butch, Zsasz and Penguin?
We don’t see Zsasz (or Falcone) this week. But as the promos make plain, Penguin’s club is having procurement issues.

Any sign of Crispis Allen, Renee Montoya or Harvey Dent this week?

Does Ed Nygma annoy any new coworkers this week?
The future Riddler skips tonight’s installment.

The big news?
A couple of really surprising things happen to major characters this week.

What else is Fox not telling us?
The first guy to don the red hood does laugh a lot like The Joker.

What’s good?
Jeffrey Combs as The Manager! Drew Powell as Butch. Bullock and the refrigerator. Bullock’s poor cell reception. The fat robber climbing the lobby table. “You’re welcome, Oswald.” “What good’s it done you?”

What’s not so good?
Invisotext on! While Fish’s antics tonight are certain to prove memorable, I don’t believe they make a lick of sense.

How does it end, spoiler boy?
“Goodbye, Mr. Payne.”

8 p.m. Monday. Fox.
