Hey folks, Harry here with IWIWCN (aka I WISH IT WERE COOL NEWS With the first look at the DRIVEN teaser trailer. As most know, Renny Harlin usually is great at cutting together utterly fantastic teaser trailers. I still absolutely love and cherish his early teaser trailers for CLIFFHANGER and CUTTHROAT ISLAND... and heck... that DEEP BLUE SEA teaser was pretty sharp too. Now the following teaser is only ... ok ... at least as seen in a tiny grainy AVI.... I had the good fortune a couple of weeks back to talk to Stallone, who told me this teaser would be going out with GET CARTER. He was also extremely jazzed about this film. Hopefully we'll be getting a great high quality trailer on this soon.... till then, IWIWCN is your only hope... enjoy....
Hey Harry,
IWIWCN here. Just thought that I would drop you a note letting you know that I have the new teaser for Sly Stallone's "DRIVEN" on-line. You can get to it through my website By CLicking Here or direct at THIS LOCATION . Now you know I have been a huge supporter of this flick, as I am a CART fanatic, but after seeing this I am starting to have my doubts. The cheese factor is starting to creep in. After you watch this you will know what I mean.
In this, Sly said that he wanted to make the "definitive racing film". Unfortunately it looks like Hollywood has taken over, why am I not surprised? One plus is that the FX shots look very realistic, almost too realistic. I am not holding my breath, but it looks like this one will be a "popcorn flick".
For what it's worth,
IWIWCN
