Hey folks, Harry here... Last week I was in Los Angeles for THE EXORCIST premiere... and while there... I was, as usual, up to no good... I raided the SONY lot and when setting out to see SNATCH in the Thalberg building... I ran into McG... director of CHARLIE'S ANGELS, who seems in quite chipper spirits in regards to CHARLIE'S ANGELS... Seems the word on AICN is at least shared by him... he feels he's made a very entertaining fun popcorn film. And it seems that the success of CHARLIE'S ANGELS will be the yea or nay on the shooting of DANGER GIRL... at least according to this report...
Greetings Harry :
I finally have something to give to AICN, which has been giving to me for years! Sorry its not anything Earth shattering though.
Saturday night I ran into Danger Girl creator Andy Hartnell at Tower Records in La Jolla. He was buying DVDs and CDs and magazines. (I saw a Powerman 5000 CD and some kind of car magazine).
I asked him what was happening with the Danger Girl movie and he told me they were waiting to see how Charlies Angels will do. I asked him if that meant it wasn't happening and he was kind of puzzled. He went on to say that he thought Charlies Angels looked cool! And that he thinks Danger Girl will happen soon, hopefully before the actors strikes.
We talked for a minute after that about Powerman 5000 and then he left. I have a friend who works the store and he said Hartnell is often in there so I told him to get me more info whenever he can.
Please call me The Sixth Finger
