UPDATE: Kristin Wiig ("Spoils of Babylon"), Jon Hamm ("Mad Men"), Chris Pine ("Star Trek") and Jason Schwartzman ("Bored To Death") have all joined the "Wet" cast.
Filming has begun on Netflix’s eight-episode sequel to “Wet Hot American Summer.”
David Wain and Michael Showalter, who wrote the original movie, are doing the same for the series, with Wain (“Role Models,” “Wanderlust”) reprising his role as director.
Virtually the entire cast is back from the 14-year-old feature, including Bradley Cooper, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, Amy Poehler, Janeane Garofalo, H. Jon Benjamin, Christopher Meloni, Molly Shannon, , David Hyde Pierce, Judah Friedlander, A.D. Miles, Marguerite Moreau, Nina Hellman, Marisa Ryan, Zak Orth, Kevin Sussman, and “The State” vets Showalter, Ken Marino, Michael Ian Black and Joe LoTruglio.
