Hey guys! Horrorella here...
In the latest chapter of the long and drawn-out story of trying to bring a new iteration of THE CROW to the big screen, Luke Evans has officially left the project, according to The Wrap.
Evans has been attached to the film for some time now, set to take over the role made famous by Brandon Lee in the original 1994 film. But after many delays and now a new director (Corin Hardy recently took over directing duties when F. Javier Gutierrez left the film), Evans is moving on, leaving Relativity once again searching for a new leading man.
So it's back to square one on that front, but it could provide Hardy the opportunity to start at the beginning with his own vision for the film. He will reportedly begin meeting with actors after his new film THE HALLOW debuts at the Sundance Film Festival.
In the meantime, Evans will next be teaming up with Ben Wheatly on his upcoming thriller HIGH-RISE. So now I guess we're back to that age-old question: Who do you guys see as the next Eric Draven?
