Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Jon Favreau has had a bit of a brutal post-Marvel run with Cowboys and Aliens not hitting as intended and many development nightmare productions (although Jersey Boys seemed to be a bullet dodged and Magic Kingdom might still have some life left in it). But he seemed to have found his creative center again when he went low-fi with the fantastically reflective CHEF.
Say what you will about Cowboys and Aliens, Favreau shot the hell out of that movie. He's a great shooter and always enlists great DPs. On his live action Jungle Book flick he's got Bill Pope (Army of Darkness, Matrix, Scott Pilgrim, Team America) making things look pretty.
Favreau recently instagram'd a shot from the film that shows off a lot of mood and was too cool not to share. I don't think it's too much of a leap to venture a guess that the boy in silhouette is Neel Sethi as Mowgli.

Lots of talent on this one, including many great actors like Bill Murray, Christopher Walken, Lupita Nyong'o, Idris Elba, Ben Kingsley, Giancarlo Esposito and Scarlett Johanssonvoicing the animals. Christopher Walken as King Louie? Just take my $10, dude.
