After a couple of Sherlock Holmes films, Jude Law and Guy Ritchie aren't quite ready to part ways. Variety reports that Law is in talks to co-star in KNIGHTS OF THE ROUNDTABLE: KING ARTHUR. He would be starring opposite Charlie Hunnam, who has already been cast as the legendary hero himself. Law is reportedly circling the role of the unnamed villain in the story.
This isn't exactly surprise casting, give Ritchie's history working with Law, but it is still an interesting one. Astrid Bereges-Frisbey has been cast in the role of Guinevere. The film once boasted the addition of Idris Elba in the role of Arthur's mentor, but he has sadly left the project.
Warner Bros. is reportely looking to launch a 6-film series based on the Arthurian legend. Few plot details have been released, which makes it unclear if Law would be involved for a single film, or if his character would carry over to more of the series. The film is set to open in July of 2016, so we will probably be hearing additional casting and plot details as production nears.
