Hey folks, Harry here... seems that Sister Satan got some followup on that script she reviewed two days ago... It's always nice to hear that sometimes... even if you don't sell a script in Hollywood... the reputation of the quality work can lead you to still other work... like has happened with these two screenwriters... Here's what Sister Satan had to say...
Hey sister satan here with great news...
well, remember I was pleading to find out more news about the script "Demons In Apartment 3C" and its writers, well one of them (Mark Yoshimoto)read the site and responded with a letter letting us all know who these guys are, what they are currently doing, have done, and are working on. Also he included contact info regarding his agent for all those interested in purchasing the piece or learning more about the project. TOo CoOL!!!!!!!!
Yo Sister...
Thanks much for your great review of DEMONS IN APARTMENT 3C. I didn't even know about it until a studio exec called me and told me he read it. When John and I read it for ourselves, we were floored by both your glowing words and how much you totally got it.
Demons has been a great script for us, however, I hate to say that we were kind of bit in the ass by Adam Sandler's Little Nicky. We were told by several people that they wanted the script but were afraid to go head to head with what this town feels is one of it's most bankable stars. As of today, Demons is still on the market and said studio exec asked if it was still available, but I have to tell you that it did open a lot of doors for John Mickevich and myself.
Currently, we are working on a feature writing assignment for producing team Pierce/Williams (which we landed with a teen comedy spec of ours called WORKING STIFFS) and are close to finishing our next big tentpole spec called DARK ISLAND. On my own, I just co-wrote an episode of the Pam Anderson syndie action hour V.I.P. which begins shooting tomorrow here in L.A. with none other than the one and only BRUCE CAMPBELL directing. Needless to say, I'm very, very stoked. And last but not least, I also have a very big action spec titled NUMBER ONE WITH A BULLET on it's way out to market very, very soon.
John and I are very big fans of AICN and if it weren't for the fact that I'm in the middle of moving out of one house and into another, I probably would have seen the review myself. Thank you again for your great review. We are really proud of DEMONS and feel that our work speaks for itself.
Thanks again, congratulations on your baby, and if it's not too much trouble, could you post our agent's contact information in case anyone else who reads this terriffic review wants to buy this script.
