The 13-episode final season of the procedural created by Bruno Heller (who also created “Rome” and “Gotham”) will launch Sunday, Nov. 30.
“The Mentalist” was a solid performer until CBS scheduled it to follow the network’s low-rated “The Good Wife” on Sundays last season.
On Jan. 7 “Mentalist” will move to Wednesdays, where it will temporarily take over the 8 p.m. “Survivor” timeslot.
The two-hour series finale will air Wednesday, Feb. 18.
The 90-minute season premieres of “Survivor” and “The Amazing Race” will air the following Wednesday, Feb. 25. (“Race” will subsequently return to its regular Friday timeslot.)
