NYCC: Ambush Bug is on his way to the con and he’s got two special panels to share with you; Reinventing Horror and Black Mask Studios: Class of 2015!

It’s your old pal Ambush Bug here. I’m taking a red eye over to the New York Comic Con tonight, but before I do I wanted to toss out a reminder for folks to check out two panels that I am involved with!

First up is my “Reinventing Horror” panel which occurs tomorrow (Friday) at 12:15pm in room 1A05 in the Javits Convention Center. This year’s New York edition of my ongoing series of panels talks about what new trends we are noticing in horror, what is around the corner for the genre, and what scares us all in the world of horror films, books, comics, and beyond! This year, my esteemed panelists include THE BATTERY director Jeremy Gardner, THE SPREAD writer Justin Jordan, FIVE GHOSTS writer Frank Barbiere, Black Mask Studios publisher & writer of GODKILLER Matt Pizzolo, and 12 REASONS TO DIE writer Matt Rosenberg. These panels are always a blast giving all of us and all of you the chance to talk about the genre we know and love; horror!

The second panel I wanted to steer folks towards is the Black Mask Studios Class of 2015 panel which talks about the just announced new slate of books coming from this exciting new comic book company in the upcoming year including Grant Morrison’s new series SINATORO as well as my just-released series PIROUETTE! I’ll be joining a slew of Black Mask talent talking about our new comics that break conventions and expand minds to places unimaginable. End the convention Sunday at 4:15-5:00pm Sunday afternoon with Black Mask Studios in room 1A05!

If you’re at the con and are looking for something to do, check out the comics and horror at these two panels which I’ll be appearing in. Stop by and say how much you love/hate my reviews on AICN COMICS and AICN HORROR, talk about my new comic PIROUETTE, or just say “Hi!”

Hope to see you all there!
