Jeremy here...
This here movie looks like a good bit of fun, if the bleak work of Jim Thompson is your idea of a good time at the movies. Directed by Simon and Zeke Hawkins, BAD TURN WORSE isn't based on a specific Thompson novel, but it sure seems to have the right mix of desperation and violence. Going so far as to utter his name in a greasy spoon diner... well, that's just asking for trouble.
The film stars Mackenzie Davis, who was terrific on AMC's HALT AND CATCH FIRE over the summer. It also sounds like Mark Pellegrino gives a breakout performance as the town psychopath. Take a look at the just-released trailer!
BAD TURN WORSE opens in limited theatrical release on November 14th. It hits VOD and iTunes on the same day. Check it out!
