Hello ladies and gentlemen, Muldoon here with a trailer to DINOSAUR ISLAND. It just landed in my lap and I had no clue this movie existed, but it looks like a hell of a lot of fun (perhaps more for kiddos) and something I think you ladies and gents might get a kick out of. No, this isn't a remake to Jim Wynorski's JURASSIC PARK knock off, (which does have some fun moments mind you), but a new story all together. All I know is we won't get any JURASSIC WORLD footage for a bit, and I'm salivating at the concept of seeing humans interacting with dinosaurs, so when this trailer hit my inbox, I perked up and am now excited for two dinosaur island themed movies coming out now. Yes, this one's a kid's story, but it still looks like something I'd go see in theaters and it feels pretty damn big. (I'm still confused as to how I hadn't heard of this before). At any rate, keep an eye out for this fun dino flick straight out of Australia! It's got a UK release date of September 29th, so hopefully it'll hit the States some time soon. If you've somehow already seen the film, shoot off your thoughts about it in the Talkbacks! I'm genuinely excited to check this one out, but how about you folks?
The adventure begins when Lucas (Darius Williams) a 13 year old boy embarks on the vacation of a lifetime. When disaster strikes, Lucas finds himself stranded in a strange land littered with ghost ships and prehistoric creatures. While searching for other signs of life, Lucas hears a radio broadcast in the distance and is drawn into the jungle where he encounters a beautiful young girl who claims to have come from the 1950s (Kate Rasmussen.) Together they set out on a quest to get home all the while uncovering secrets that will forever change the future.
