Somewhere in the United States in a town named Ashland is a director named Sam Raimi filming a movie called A SIMPLE PLAN. WHAT!?!?!?!? I swear to god, there is no way no how that SAM (Evil Dead) RAIMI is shooting this movie in ASH-land. It's true, but I'll be damned if it ain't funny as all hell. I think that's so funny, I mean A-S-H--- land! Hahahahahahahaa... Here's the scoop from the land of Yik Yak where the Yikeryakkers live. And it was brought in from Prince Yik Yak!!
Harry, I have a small scoop regarding A Simple Plan, with Billy Bob Thornton and Bill Paxton. It is currently (or recently) filming in Ashland, Wisconsin. A news story on the filming showed local school children interviewing the stars, who were very gracious and friendly. Paxton seemed to be enjoying the kids and their simple questions, while Thornton said that Ashland was one of his favorite locations. Only showed one scene, with Paxton (?) being slammed onto the hood of a snow covered car in the middle of a park.
Apparently the shoot moved to Ashland from Minnesota due to lack of snow in MN.
