Hey guys! Horrorella here...
The first trailer for Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu's BIRDMAN promised a strangely captivating dark comedy. This new international trailer cements it at the top of my "must-see" list for this coming fall.
BIRDMAN stars Michael Keaton as an actor famous for playing a superhero once-upon-a-time, but is currently trying to revive his career by getting a Broadway play off the ground. Try though he might, he can't seem to leave his former persona behind, but at the same time, longs for the acclaim it once brought him.
The film looks at once absurd, hilarious, dark, painful and telling. The cast is incredible (including Emma Stone, Edward Norton, Naomi Watts, Zach Galifianakis and Amy Ryan), and I am SO DIGGING Keaton's running internal monologue.
BIRDMAN opens on October 17th. What do you guys think?
