Ron Howard has found a narrator for THE GRINCH

While everyone is all talking about Jim Carrey teaming up with Frank Darabont on THE BIJOU (a really wonderful script concerning a communist black listed screenwriter that... well, that's not what you came here to read), our spies have been busily working on finding out who the narrator for HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS will be...

Now... as anyone knows, this story must have a narrator if Seuss is to have a voice at all... Ron Howard had literally been auditioning every well-known vocalist with a great voice around... and it looks as if he has settled upon Sir Anthony Hopkins as the voice of the narrator.

When I saw that early early early print of the GRINCH like a billion years back... the narrator was just some ADR or editing guy... I can't remember. But personally... I really feel that Hopkins can give that perfect sound. Well... I'm off to sleep... See you tomorrow afternoon...
