Hey folks, Harry here with a tidbit sent in from David the Giantslayer that he culled from a certain guide for television reports that interviewed Wesley Snipes about his upcoming film THE ART OF WAR (who's director is being courted for T3 btw). Now as a result... You'll probably be seeing tidbits like this one popping up all over the place as Snipes drops hints as to the progress of BLADE 2. As you've been reading on the site... this film is to be directed by Guillermo Del Toro from a script that David Goyer wrote, then rewrote alongside Del Toro. In a week or so, Goyer will be flying to Madrid to continue the tweaking of that script... doing a budget pass to trim.. just a little of the fat... and then? Well, we'll see...

Just caught this on the TVGuide.com site. Direct quotes from Snipes about Blade 2.

"Especially not with the sequel to Blade coming out next year. The follow-up to the 1998 hit — in which Snipes plays a guy who's half human/half vampire — revisits such small themes as urban vigilantism and world domination. 'The basic premise is that there's been some genetic engineering between humans and vampires,' he explains. 'And a super vampire is created. This super vampire feeds off other vampires. So the vampires want to call a peace treaty with Blade, because they need his help to get these other super vampires out of the way. So now his enemies become his allies.'"
Enjoy.
