I just had to respond to "Pris'" mini-review of the "6 Days/7 Nights" sneak. I haven't seen it, but I have some ties to folks involved and have to clarify a huge misconception on her(?) part. The movie is not, and never has been based on "Swept Away!" Yes, there are two people stuck on a desert island together, but the dynamics, situation, relationships, etc. are completely different. It bears about as much resemblance to "S.A." as it does to "Robinson Crusoe." I would hate for people to think it's a ripoff of any kind.
