Also Phil Coulson’s SHIELD badge lit up with longitude and latitude coordinates, but all his supersmart teammates acted like he was an idiot to follow them.

A new “Agents of SHIELD” did way better in the 9 p.m. “Goldbergs” timeslot than “The Goldbergs” typically does. That 2.1 was also “SHIELD’s” best demo score since Feb. 4. Those who insist ABC is going to cancel its most popular new show, candidly, demonstrate an imperfect understanding of how TV works.
