Hey folks, Harry here with a tidbit about how you can see that gelflin in her new movie with Lars Von Trier called DANCER IN THE DARK. We all know that it's supposed to be really really good... that's why it won that award at Cannes... but this trailer just looks... creepy. Of course BJORK always creeps me out... and since it seems she's supposed to be playing a creepy character... the creeps will be real. Here's the lowdown...

I've just seen a preview of Lars Von Trier's Dancer in the Dark which opens here in the UK on 15th September and there is now an official UK site at DancerInTheDark.Co.Uk. I'm not sure when it come out in the US.
The trailer for the film is also really good and can be found at this location on real video format. The film is an amazing blend of musical, melodrama, and tragedy which has many amazing musical sequences. It is real love it or hate it stuff though and split my group of friends evenly between those who cried their eyes out and those who loathed it from the get go. Bjork's performance is truly magical and the end result is really the after effect of Dogme filmmaking dragged backwards through the Sound of Music with a touch of your favourite Douglas Sirk movie. Like it or not there is nothing like it around this year.
