Strange isn't it, I go off talking about Tex Avery yesterday, and along comes the following scoop on Roger Rabbit 2. Must of been a disturbance in the force. Good ol agent Boof (you'll never get that film reference). My biggest concern is that now that all the big studios have Animation divisions... well, the magic of having multiple characters from various studios... well... the negotiating for cross-studio promotion would be.. highly unlikely. Oh well, here's Boof's report...
It's I, Boof, one of your most devout followers. From the first day I stumbled upon your page I have been sharing the wonders and teachings of AICN with all that I meet. I come bearing a scoop, great Coolness Incarnate. It concerns ROGER RABBIT 2. A few months ago while I was surfing the web I came accross an archived chat with Gary K. Wolf, the creator of Roger Rabbit. In it, he says that it will be a prequel, and that it's about Roger heading out LA to find the mother that aboned him as a baby. There he Meets Baby Herman, Jessica(pant pant), Benny the Cab, and will show How he gets his break into show biz. It's being scored by Alan Menken and should be out in theaters by the year 2000. I think it was originaly going to be a direct to video release, but they decided against it because it was turning out so good. I just hope Disney doesn't turn it into one of their P. C. family musicals.
