On the currently rudderless TERMINATOR 3, meaning... no chef in the kitchen.... aka... I won't begin to be seriously interested in this project till a real director with serious talent signs aboard... Well, Edward Furlong has signed on to be John Connor again. I am actually a bit... disappointed by this news because it means that this will take place not to far from the future that we know in T2... If he's involved, then it kind of has to take place around the beginning of the war with the machines... Right? Of course without Linda Hamilton... is it really a TERMINATOR film? Will they be looking for a young Michael Biehn? I don't know... but seriously can any of us be excited about this film right now? Without Cameron's involvement... it feels like a Jaws sequel.... WHY? But let's see who signs on to direct... and then we'll have a vague sense of things... BTW... the Furlong involvement is reported by Michael Fleming of Variety.Com
