Hey folks... Harry here with a clarafication... seems that ol Anghus at MoronFreeFilm was the first on the net with this information, including a source that in addition claims that Jean Claude Van Damme is in negotiations to play Gambit. Now I have no doubt that at some point, someone somewhere will approach Van Damme about this, but... ya know what? Don't ya think they'd wait till they hired a screenwriter or possibly a director and had an idea of when they were going to shoot it? Who knows... excitement of a hit film sometimes disables some of these higher functions... No matter though, cause it seems that Anghus was way out ahead of the pack on this one!!!! Check out his site, it is pretty cool.
Hey folks, Harry here and I have to let ya know... I know Kreed of Ylum. Met the alien entity at the San Diego Comic Con this year and I know from whence he speaks. You should know that the details found herein are the basic ideas that are being tossed about for the sequel. Those details being Sentinels, Project X and the introduction of Gambit to the equation... (personally, I'd prefer Beast or Nightcrawler or a fully icey Bobby Drake (though I do acknowledge Gambit's significant fan following... visually... he's just not interesting to me and adds nothing for me... personally, though I'm sure many of you will celebrate!) In preparation for this sequel, I would have to recommend that the producers, Fox and the creative folks involved take a look at how Alex Ross portrayed the Sentinals in MARVELS... this is the sort of awe and morbid Holocaust-esque visage they need to imply. It also means a significant jump in budget to do it justice. Here ya go....
Harry,
When I was in Chicago this weekend for WizardWorld, I met up with Wolverine. As you know, he recently borrowed Cyclops's motorcycle to head north of the border for a while and look into some stuff. Well, he let me know what he found: Project X and Sentinels. Also, the X-Men got a "new" member: Gambit. He kept saying that the trip was so action packed, it could have been a movie! Hmmm...
