Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some rumblings from the Lab.
Several readers have been kind enough to point out an interview that's appeared online at the official website for A PERFECT CIRCLE. This is the new band featuring Maynard from Tool whose premiere video, "Judith," was directed by David Fincher. Seems that Maynard and Fincher have a little love thing goin' on, and Maynard may have just let the cat out of the bag regarding his own involvement in Fincher's PANIC ROOM, which he's set to start soon for Sony with Nicole Kidman in the lead. Here's "SonnyC," the most recent person to write me about this news:
I found an article here for the band "A Perfect Circle" which features Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan as the lead singer. He tells a lot about David Fincher, who directed their first video called "judith." He talks a bit about Fincher's films, and his own acting experience then goes on to say that Fincher offered him one of three leading roles in his next film, and that he immediately accepted. The only other acting experience Maynard has had was a few brief cameos in the HBO series "Mr. Show." Sure to be interesting to see him in another setting besides bein a weirdo frontman for weirdo bands.
