A new trailer has been released for the upcoming YA distopian story DIVERGENT. This one fills in a bit more of the backstory surrounding the world in which we find ourselves and how its society functions.
DIVERGENT is set in a future wherein all citizens are tested and assigned a faction based on personality traits when they come of age. These factions are how society maintains order and control, in the wake of a devestating war. Our main character, Tris (Shailene Woodley) is a rare example of someone who doesn't fit into any of these categories, and therefore, can't be controlled - obviously making her a gigantic threat to the governing body and all sense of order.
The book series has been wildly popular, and Summit has so much faith in the property that they have already begun working on the sequel, INSURGENT.
