Peter Berg's new film is definitely flying more under the radar than Battleship did last year. Based on the book Lone Survivor: The Eyewitness Account of Operation Redwing and the Lost Heroes of SEAL Team 10, by Marcus Luttrell, the film chronicles a team of Navy SEALS on a covert mission in to neutralize a high-level Taliban spy in Afghanistan.
The film boasts an impressive cast, including Mark Wahlberg, Ben Foster, Taylor Kitsch, Emile Hirsch, and Eric Bana, so there is room for the possibility of some powerful character moments, if Berg chooses to go that route.

LONE SURVIVOR will open in limited release on December 27th, expanding wider on January 10th.
