Hey guys! Horrorella here...
A trailer has hit for the upcoming thriller OPEN GRAVE, in which Sharlto Copley wakes up in a mass grave (pretty much the last place you want to wake up EVER), with no memory. He wanders to a nearby house full of other people, who, like him, have no memory of who they are or what is happening in the world around them. Together, they begin to put together the pieces of how they came to be here.
It looks like an interesting story - the horrors of whatever has befallen the world mixed with the mystery who these people are and why they can't remember anything (not to mention the grave angle) could add up to be an interesting thriller.
The film is directed by Gonzalo López-Gallego, who, granted, directed APOLLO 18, but I'm willing to give this one a shot.
OPEN GRAVE also costars Thomas Kretschmann, Josie Ho, Joseph Morgan, Erin Richards and Max Wrottesley. It hits VOD on December 24th, and will open in theaters on January 3rd.
