We have already seen a couple of trailers for THE HOST director, Bong Joon-ho’s SNOWPIERCER and now thanks to The Film Stage we have a couple of French trailers:
The film looks absolutely beautiful and I really can’t wait to see it after hearing the buzz surrounding it generated by those that have seen it. Last month though, we heard that The Weinstein Company had acquired the film and was going to be cutting it up in much the same way they did with last month’s U.S. release of Wong Kar-wai’s THE GRANDMASTER. (Mr. Beaks wrote a terrific piece on both of these films and the cuts.)
We still haven’t heard too much about how much is going to be cut from the film’s 126 minute international cut or when it is actually going to be released here in the U.S. but it did open in Korea last month so hopefully we will get a region free Blu-ray soon with the international version.
