According to Variety, word out of TIFF is that Bruce Willis has just signed on to a new action film called THE PRINCE. The film will be directed by Sarik Andreasyan (the upcoming AMERICAN HEIST) and will center on a retired Vegas mob enforcer who must return to the city when his daughter goes missing. Willis will play the role of a man (one assumes a current mob player) who confronts the enforcer upon his return.
That's all the details we currently have, but I will be interested to learn more as the project moves forward. Particularly about who will be cast in the enforcer role, as it sounds like the two characters will have quite a history, and the possibility for some interesting scenes together.
THE PRINCE is scheduled to begin filming in New Orleans in October, so we should be hearing additional casting info before too long.
