Ok folks, slow the heart beat down a bit, it ain't Mel Gibson... apparently, there is some character that publicity is referring to as 'a road warrior' to be played by Keith Campbell, who first hooked up with Spielberg as Robin WIlliams' stunt double and aerial double in HOOK. So he's worked with the beard before. This is one of those nuggets that causes months and years of speculation.... ok, well only years if it hits budgetary problems.... But Spielberg never has those. heheheh.... Read on...
Hiya Harry,
This is the Ocelot again and I just read the strangest tidbit on Reuters' Showbiz People Briefs. During their usual casting round-up, they mentioned that...
"... Keith Campbell (``Men in Black'') has been cast as a road warrior in Steven Spielberg's ``A.I.'' Campbell was Tom Cruise's stunt double in ``Mission: Impossible 2.''
ROAD WARRIOR??? What the hell? I thought I had a pretty good handle on what AI was going to be about (a synthetic boy that a family tries to love, but can't so they abadon it and it's revived in the far future...yadda, yadda, yadda...). but now... Christ, I have no idea what Spielberg is up to.
And you know what... THANK FREAKIN' GOD!!! I can't wait to see this flick.
Read the blurb yourself at this link here!
Take care Harry!!
