Remember what I told you about Hensleigh's 1st Draft of THE HULK script? Well here is what secret agent - Gamera had to say about it, and believe me flame balls are spewing out of his mouth with good reason. Hopefully those two guys I told ya about will correct this mess and get THE HULK back where it ought to be:
The atrocious first draft has been topped by a sloppy second draft that features even more campy gags that it's predecessor. In the new draft of the HULK, Banner steals a blouse from a female bodybuilder in a laundry to cover himself. After she slaps him around some, he runs off down the street. A second gem has a painter played by Lucy Laweless (Yes, Xena), falling into the bedroom of a bullied youngster wishing Xena were real. He looks into the camera for effect. Then there's the Rita the Metermaid gag--she keeps writing a ticket after Hulk smashes her car. None of the problems from the previous draft have been addressed and the changes made are all quickies that suggest that either the studio and Gale Anne Hurd are happy with what they've got, Hensleigh is as lazy as he is unfunny or both. Please, someone stop him before he writes again...
MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN, this sounds sooooooo BAD. Hope this stuff gets the axe, I'm personally very frightened.
