A new trailer has been released for Denis Villeneuve‘s PRISONERS and it looks intense. It offers new footage of the investigation and more dramatic moments in the lives of the affected families. This could be one to watch for this fall.
The plot of PRISONERS centers on family man Kelly Dover (Hugh Jackman). His daughter and her friend are kidnapped from their neighborhood early on in the film. When the police investigation starts to stall, Kelly takes it upon himself to track down the kidnapper and bring his daughter home, by any means necessary.
I don't know about you, but I am getting excited for this one. It looks like the story is going to embrace the character moments from the families (Jackman's character in particular), and won't rely solely on the investigation and the action pieces.
