Gavin Hood's adaptation of Orson Scott Card's ENDER'S GAME doesn't have a satirical bent (as far as I know), but I can't help but think of Paul Verhoeven's classic STARSHIP TROOPERS when I look at these new "propaganda" posters. Both stories are about Earth fighting back by any means necessary against a ruthless alien species, but Hood has approached Card's novel with total reverence. This shit is serious, Johnny Rico. We'll see if Hood can deliver the goods this fall.
