Hello ladies and gentlemen, Muldoon here with this week's edition of SATURDAY SHORTS - the online screening room that's home to hundreds of great films submitted by AICN readers. I hope you're in the mood for some quality scares, a jolt of terror to the cinematic spine, or are just looking for something new, becuase that's what I've got for you today. Lined up are four horror films, followed by a cool short I didn't know how to categorize (not horror), but couldn't wait to post, so I decided to add it on to this week. All in all, we've got some quality fun today/tonight (sorry about the late post, folks!) So let's cut the jibber jabber and step right on into the land of freaky deaky horror!

And kicking things off with a bang, we have a film from David Keith of Clear Focus Movies Ltd. "A trip to a mysterious forest party leads two unsuspecting victims into a cruel game of life or death."

Second up is also a film from David Keith. "A family member’s disappearance leads a man to investigate the strange occurrences surrounding the incident."
BUCKLES

From Joe Ballarini, writer of DANCE OF THE DEAD, we get four minutes of creepiness starring THE SIGNAL's Justin Welborn and Marie Bolinger. "BUCKLES is a horror short about a surprise visitor at a birthday party."

SO DARK

Bam! From director Al Lougher we have this badass sequel to SO PRETTY. "Following his actions in the short film "So Pretty", Sean, a 200-year-old vampire with a conscience, has now been arrested for murdering a pedophile on a late-night Miami train. Unaware that they have a vampire in their custody, Miami Police hand the investigation over to F.B.I. agent Wilburn, who is the head of a clandestine task force that hunts, tortures, and kills vampires. And to close out this week, here's this edition's only non-horror film. I really dig it, it's got heart, and an interesting point of view. From Tyler MacIntyre we have an interesting perspective on the super hero genre. "When Janet visits her grandmother Faye to ask to use her wedding ring, she discovers a secret that stirs up nostalgia for the romance and heroism of an age long since passed."
