Behind the scenes on BEDAZZLED

Hey guys, while you flog you meat to my adorableness and my breasteseses in the corner.... Well... you get to read about Moto's experiences watching Brendan Frasier and Hu hu Hu Hurley, Elizabeth... hu hu hu hurley.... hu hu hu.... oh man.... I need to go.

HARRY,

Just read the "review" of Ramis' new film BEDAZZLED, and thought that I would share some info.

2-3 months ago I worked on the BEDAZZLED set for several weeks all together! Needless to say, this was the best set that I have ever worked on!

As a screenwriter, I have always loved Ramis' work! In regards to Brendan... well, after GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE and DUDLEY DORIGHT, I lost all respect for him... until I saw his performances (plural due to the fact that he plays 7 different versions of himself) on this set.

The office scenes (film at the Gas company building in downtown L.A.) were great! Brendan acting throughout these scenes was very impressing. Especially the scenes where he finds out that the devil has "foiled" him... he screams at a computer screen as co-workers look on in amazement.

The NBA scenes were the best. Alot of bluescreen work was done (Fraser plays a 7 foot tall NBA star... one of his wishes). The best thing was when I was in a main scene with Orlando Jones (he plays two characters in the film... a co-worker and an NBA sportscaster) and Tobey something (the comic from the Ruffle commercials where the hockey player steals his ruffels and runs).

Ramis wanted Orlando and Tobey to improv their comedic dialogue (they basically played cliched sportscasters that say the stupidest things). For four hours the camera was right in our faces as the two of them improved for Ramis and the camera. Needless to say, it was the funniest shit I have EVER heard. Ramis would be behind camera laughing his ass off, while hundreds of extras wondered what the hell was so funny. The sportcasters scenes will be a highlight in this film!!!

Fans of Elizabeth Hurley (wow) will NEED to see this film!!! She (along with Laker Girls) do a pom pom routine for the camera... you will want to bring a clean up towel after this scene!!! Hurley wears nothing but a tube top and a bikini like bottom. She is even sexier in real life!!

All in all, Ramis is the coolest, most laidback director I have ever worked for. His kids were on the set each day.

Another cool note will be this: The basketball players hired for the scenes were real Europe or college players. However, when Brendan filmed with them for closeups, they brought in short players to make it seem like Fraser was 7 feet tall... these new players were about 5'9 compared to the first team that were all over 6'5 !!! The even gave the short players smaller balls and smaller hoops!! True Hollywood magic!!

Thanks and to all of you Star Wars/Lucas turncoats... we'll see you in line for Episode II!!!
