Hey folks, Harry here. Lo Pan has been my go to spy inside Sony on SPIDER-MAN. Every scoop he's given has panned out, and when he gave me the 2 villains, I held it... and sure enough that panned out. Lo Pan is a straight shooter, and first started providing scoops and bits about 2 and a half years ago. So... He's for real. Here's the latest, and you can be sure that we'll be continuing to keep a close eye on the process. As will the other sites I'm sure. It's getting to crunch time... Hopefully someone will leak the costume designs from the Licensing show to someone somewhere. It'd be nice to see what this new costume could look like. Till later, here's Lo Pan....
Hey, Harry,
It's "Lo Wang" here, your faithful spy at Sony. As you may recall, I only give reports very occasionally, when I have something tangible to report, such as when I revealed to you the two villains of the Spider-Man movie.
ON THE RECORD:
The bit about James Franco having the role of Peter Parker is B.S.... well, half-B.S.. True, they want to screen test him soon -- along with a few other youngish actors -- for the role of Peter Parker. But he has NOT yet been screen tested, even. To my knowledge NOBODY has been screen tested at this point. Nobody has the role. And nobody among the other recent candidates is a name that's been raised before, to my knowledge. No Wes Bentley, no Leonardo, no Heath Ledger, et al. All *relative* unknowns. So, it definitely looks like Raimi is going the George Lucas "I don't hire stars, I make them" route.
Lo Wang out.
