Hey folks, Harry here. Seems that our Anonymous French Director got into a screening at Cannes regarding some special promo work on BLACK MASK 2, and man... this stuff sounds like it is pretty darn cool. While the film doesn't have Jet Li attached (at least that's what I last heard) there are many talented martial art Hong Kong types that would fill the job magnificiently... like Rongguang Yu, who played IRON MONKEY. I'd love to see him in this film. Here's the scoop...

My name is anonymous french director. I went to cannes this year.
I stayed all the festival in the market and I see a promo-reel of black mask 2. I think that was not images from the film but only specials effects and fighting scenes test.
That was INCREDIBLE.
Imagine :
- a fight sequence between black mask and a snake woman ( who's got arms like Red Richards) with perfect digitals effects.
- a moto pursuit on the top of a digital "blade runner" town.
- another fighting scene on the top of a high glass-dome.
- wrestling sequence(!) against black mask and a big monster who's got cat's eyes.
So forget Matrix . Black mask 2 is coming.
