DEEP SPACE NINE Vets Ronald D. Moore And Ira Steven Behr Are In The Writers’ Room For Proposed Time-Travel Series OUTLANDER!!

I am – Hercules!!

“Battlestar Galactica” mastermind Ronald D. Moore has recruited Ira Steven Behr, his old boss at “Star Trek: The Next Generation” and “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine,” to shore up the writers’ room for Starz’ proposed “Outlander” series.

Behr’s other credits include “The 4400,” “Alphas,” “Dark Angel” and the 2002 version of “The Twilight Zone.”

It’s based on Diana Galbaldon’s novels about a World War II combat nurse named Claire who finds herself unexpectedly transported to the Scottish Highlands of 1743, where she’s forced to marry a fierce and gallant Scottish warrior.

Other writers now working on the project include Toni Graphia (who worked with Moore on “Galactica,” “Roswell,” and “Carnivale”), Matthew Roberts (who worked with Moore on “Caprica”) and Anne Kenney (“L.A. Law,” “Greek,” “Switched At Birth”).

Moore, undaunted by his participation in stalled TV projects as “Dragonriders of Pern,” “Virtuality,” “17th Precinct,” “The McCulloch” and “The Wild Wild West,” began pitching “Outlander” to an array of channels last summer.
