Jet Li and Luc Besson to make THE PROFESSIONAL/FIST OF LEGEND style film!!!!!

DEAR GOD! Out of the blue announcements do not get much cooler than this. Can you be cooler than Jet Li? Can Luc Besson have a cooler action star as his hero? Then to hear that they are working on an untitled film that is in the tradition of FIST OF LEGEND and THE PROFESSIONAL... The mind boggles. Michael Fleming over at VARIETY has come forward with... THE COOLEST DAMN STORY IN A GOOD LONG WHILE! Now, Luc Besson is set to write and produce and finance the film.... as of yet he has not committed to direct the film.... BESSON DIRECT THIS FILM! Direct Jet Li to Godhood in the States! Fleming says the untitled film has a Fall start date, meaning it could be ready as early as next summer. As far as I can tell, Besson doesn't yet have a start date on whatever his next directing gig is, so there is a chance he might take the reins.... We'll have to wait and see. But no matter... this is something to get really really jazzed about!!! Harry Out!
